A center for elephants where you can not just interact with them but also have their trunk litterally on your balcony!
You will take an hour, more or less, to reach the place from Chiang Mai and when you arrive you can feel the jungle vibes. From the drop off point, you have to cross a bridge over the river and so you arrive on the opposite side of the land where the retreat is.
The time you can play and watch the elephants is limited, of course, because they need their deserved rest but you can be lucky and spot there walking around freely.
A magic part of our staying was when I saw one in the early morning just near to our room. How cute are them??
