Riad Laaroussa, Fes, MOROCCO

Fred, the owner, welcomed us with “ciao Susannaaaa” and just in that moment we realized we were not in a museum but in a riad. The glace was out of our imagination: a huge patio with some fountains, rich of pale flowers and soaked of morokkan parfume of sandal and almond. Over us, high balconies covered by ancient engravings with light custains moved by the freeze. The staff lead us to our rooms. We understood in our trip of Morocco that the rooms in the riad are like little apartment, composed of different areas with different amenities. The view we had from our windows was breathtaking, because of a side we had magnificent sculptures and on the other we can spot the sunny terrace.

We took a stop also in the swimming pool and of course a good aperitif on the rooftop with ocal wine. If you have the chance, try the Moroccan wine!
